Description

Employees will be responsible for the set-up and operation of Blanchard Grinding Machines, snag grinding equipment, etc. Ensures maximum production while adhering to quality and safety standards and procedures.

Salary: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour

  • 10 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift

Experience:
  • Blanchard Grinding: 1 year (Required)

Requirements


  • Your own Tools.
  • The ability to use micrometers, scales, gauges and indicators.
  • Perform with or without supervision and take instruction.
  • You must be able to Set-up, maintain, operate and adjust Blanchard grinding machines to achieve tolerances of +/-.001", Flat, Square & parallel in .002; 6 side grind. Work from part drawings, prints and verbal specifications.

Responsibilities



  • Set up and operate a variety of Blanchard Grinding Machines with a high level of skill and expertise.
  • Achieve production, quality and safety standards by observing equipment operating conditions and making adjustments to maximize output.
  • Detect malfunctions and make machine adjustments to achieve quality and production standards. Must be able to calibrate and use a variety of measuring devices.Notifies appropriate personnel of problems beyond the scope of responsibility of the position.
  • Assist other operators as needed to meet production and quality standards.
  • Perform basic equipment maintenance in compliance with preventative/predictive schedules.
  • Communicate with co-workers, management, clients and others in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions.
